Spending Time in Raleigh +
New Recipe!

Hello, my lovely!

So much has happened since my last newsletter. We've driven through seven states and counting since leaving Florida. Burn-out is definitely very real though with this lifestyle especially since we have not been taking it slow. We're looking forward to finding a spot where we can stay at least a month soon and start preparing for wintering in the southern US.

It's been a real race against time for us with the colder seasons coming. In a matter of weeks, there could be snow and freezing temperatures up in the northern US. We spent the past week in Medora, ND to see the Theodore Roosevelt National Park and are starting to make our way south now to escape the cold.

In other news, see how some typical days are for us in my Youtube Shorts.

P.S. There will not be a new blog post next Monday (8/28) as I am behind on blogging and we will be in an area that has no service. Your regularly scheduled programming will begin the next time you get a newsletter on September 4 (Wow! September already?!).

I took a couple month break from the blog since we packed a lot of sightseeing and moving research into that time. We drove from Florida back up to New York and stopped in Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Raleigh along the way. We camped on the beach when we got home to wrap up our travels which was honestly the most perfect way to end our time in the RV,...

With Love, Melissa Blog Newsletter, Vol. 41 (3/19/24) Spring Recipes You Didn't Know You Needed Hello, my lovely! This newsletter just happens to land on the Spring Equinox, so happy first day of Spring! My husband and I have had a blast of a time down here in Florida these past couple weeks. We spent the beginning of March wandering around bike week and getting front row spots at the Daytona 200. Immediately following that, we went on a vacation for a week with family and kayaked til the...
