You Won't Believe Where We Went
+ All Things Fall!

Hello, my lovely!

Since my last newsletter, we've been to Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons NPs. We've seen some truly stunning sights and honestly will be going back to most of them in the future. Let's just say we know what our next few vacations will be after we buy a house.

Now heading south to SoCal for the fall. We'll be there for three glorious months! It'll be the time we need to relax and recharge before we start heading east again.

You can follow our adventures as I slowly post on social media. More photos on Kofi if you subscribe. And follow along on my blog with the RV Life Diaries series.

Links I want to share...

  • Lovely Greens is an amazing newsletter I follow of a gardener/homesteader and she posted a new Calendula Lotion recipe. I'm definitely saving this to make in the future!
  • September = Fall so it's time for apple recipes! Here are some of the best from Minimalist Baker.
  • How much does it cost to open a bookstore?

See what else I've read on my Goodreads! Feel free to friend or follow so you can have updates on your feed and we can talk books!

With Love, Melissa Blog Newsletter, Vol. 43 (6/18/24) The Long Drive Home & What We Found There! Hello, my lovely! So we are finally home! I took a couple month break from the blog since we packed a lot of sightseeing and moving research into that time. We drove from Florida back up to New York and stopped in Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Raleigh along the way. We camped on the beach when we got home to wrap up our travels which was honestly the most perfect way to end our time in the RV,...

My husband and I got to spend the holiday with my extended family in Florida. It was a gorgeous day outside, we spent our time playing cornhole, lounging in hammocks, and eating! What could be better? We are now preparing our RV to leave soon! Spring is in full force, so that means our time wintering in Florida is coming to an end. I am...

With Love, Melissa Blog Newsletter, Vol. 41 (3/19/24) Spring Recipes You Didn't Know You Needed Hello, my lovely! This newsletter just happens to land on the Spring Equinox, so happy first day of Spring! My husband and I have had a blast of a time down here in Florida these past couple weeks. We spent the beginning of March wandering around bike week and getting front row spots at the Daytona 200. Immediately following that, we went on a vacation for a week with family and kayaked til the...
